Terra M. Miller is the Co-Founder and President of Encore Land Services, a locally owned and operated land management firm based in Vernal, Utah. With more than years of experience in the land and energy industry, Terra is known for her integrity, leadership, and commitment to delivering precise, efficient, and community-focused land management solutions.
Under her direction, Encore Land Services has become a trusted partner for surface and mineral management across multiple states. She has led the company's diversification into renewable energy, securing thousands of acres for solar development and guiding solar and storage projects throughout the western United States. Terra's strategic foresight, policy development, and dedication to quality have established Encore as a regional leader recognized for both technical expertise and personalized service.
An active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), Utah Association of Professional Landmen (UAPL), Utah Petroleum Association (UPA), and the American Clean Power Association (ACP), Terra brings professionalism and technical acumen to every aspect of her work, supporting fair and informed land use decisions. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Utah State University, an education that has guided her in building strategic growth frameworks for both her business and philanthropic initiatives.
Having grown up in Somalia and Uganda, Terra developed a lifelong passion for service, diversity, and cultural connection. She is also a proud wife and mother of two daughters. Together, they love boating, camping, and exploring the outdoors—activities that reflect her deep appreciation for nature, balance, and family life.
Jennifer Hall
Secretary, Co-Owner
Jennifer Hall is the Secretary and Co-Owner of Encore Land Services. With more than years of experience in the energy and land management industry, Jennifer brings a rare combination of technical expertise, leadership, and relationship-building that has helped shape Encore's reputation for excellence and integrity.
As the Co-founder, she established a company recognized for precision, transparency, and high-quality deliverables across title, leasing, and right-of-way services. Jennifer has been instrumental in developing Encore's client relationships and company culture—fostering open communication, education, and collaboration at every level. Her leadership has positioned Encore as a trusted partner in both traditional and renewable energy projects.
An expert in oil and gas leasing, Jennifer works closely with agencies such as the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), and School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (SITLA) to negotiate and administer federal and state leases. She has also managed extensive acquisitions for pipeline and road rights-of-way throughout the Rocky Mountain region, combining strategic insight with a hands-on, people-first approach.
Jennifer is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), Utah Association of Professional Landmen (UAPL), Utah Petroleum Association (UPA), and the American Clean Power Association (ACP). Her commitment to education and mentorship has strengthened Encore's internal team and contributed to its continued growth as a company that values both professionalism and community connection.

Nicole Mold
Office Manager, Petroleum Landman
Nicole Mold serves as the Office Manager at Encore Land Services, bringing more than years of expertise in the oil and gas industry. With a strong foundation in accounting, real estate, employee and project management, title research, acquisitions, and compliance, she plays a vital role in ensuring Encore's operations run with precision, efficiency, and integrity.
A Certified Trainer in oil and gas software, she works closely with attorneys and land professionals to research and resolve complex title issues. Her current focus includes DDOTO compliance and review, title curative, force pooling, mineral ownership reporting, oil and gas lease negotiations, title abstracting, and client reporting. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and collaborative leadership style, Nicole is a trusted resource for both clients and colleagues alike.
Nicole attended Utah Valley State College, where she earned a Secretarial Degree in Accounting, and later completed Stringham Real Estate School, becoming a licensed Utah Real Estate Agent. Her blend of technical knowledge, more than 20 years of real estate experience, and organizational leadership has made her an integral part of Encore's continued growth and success.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Nicole spent much of her youth in San Diego and later in Northern California's wine country before settling in Vernal, Utah. She and her husband are the proud parents of three adult sons and are excited to welcome new members to their family—especially grandchildren. Together, they enjoy Vernal's rural charm and take full advantage of the area's exceptional boating, camping, fishing, river rafting and wildlife right outside their door. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys reading, gardening, watching football and loves relaxing on her back porch or boat while taking in the scenic views and reflecting on life's simple pleasures and meaningful moments with family and friends. She embodies the values of dedication, authenticity, and balance that define the Encore Land Services team.
